Earth Lodge, etc.

Last weekend some of the teachers went to Earth Lodge for the day.  It's a place where you can come to eat, camp overnight, or just hang out.

More beautiful sky pictures!

They are also an avocado farm.

There are a variety of housing options.  This is the tree house.  There's even a sign warning occupants that the swaying of the tree is normal and no cause for alarm.

I get to work with these ladies!

The perfect panorama for the "fish eye" setting on my camera!

Some food pictures from Azucena:
We had a typical dinner at the house.  Eggs, beans, fried plantains (my favorite!), and cream.  Mmmmm...
We tried a very typical restaurant close to our house.

I got Caldo de Pollo, which is Chicken Soup.  I ate the rice, avocados, and onions/cilantro separately, but later saw a Guatemalan guy dump everything into the soup.  Now I know for next time.
